Hey y'all, let me tell you yesterday I 'bout wet my self laughing. The Walmart in Houston TX is caring prepper supplies. About a 5 gallon bucket full of freeze dried entrees. I was reading off the list and i just could not help myself. It said "food for 4 people for 72 hours". For around 70 bucks. Mm, You can go buy canned stuff from the grocery section, with the same amount of money and get more food! And with the canned stuff you don't have to add water. Really if there is a catastrophe where are you gonna get water from? canned goods have water in them already. This is just another example of corporate America, Walmart in particular, trying to cash in on what could be unfounded fears.
Besides after years of military service, dried foods are the last crap I will be buying!

Publishing Updates
Hello y'all, I just trying to get a bit of rest, the last week has been a whirlwind, in the next couple of issues some of my writings will be featured in Backwoodsman Magazine. Also dancing the dance with having some in Backyard Poultry. So I'll post here, on FB, and Squidoo, the issues as soon as I hear something solid. I hope that during the promo everyone managed to get a copy of "My Fruit Press" I had 1353 downloads, I was tickled pink! A couple of more titles have been posted to Amazon also. I've some out with different real paper magazines so if those don't sale they will be matched with other articles and published on Amazon.
Thanks Blake

I apologize for my absence, I have spent most of the last few weeks bottle feeding a litter of kittens whose mother disappeared. Now that they are weaned and some updates to my software are made and debugged I should be back to publishing a couple of times a week. So thank all of you for your patience,
Blake
