New book

I was cruising about Amazon looking for reading material.  I ran up on this page, Yaden Coul Book. While I've yet to read any of the story, I bought it for future reading. What struck me is that this serviceman is working to better himself with out government handouts.  At 3.99 a copy is way less than any meal I can buy from McDonald's. So I can skip a trip out to help one of our real heroes better himself.  So i would like to implore every one to help a hero.

McDonalds Emergency Lighting.

So the other day i was in the McDonald's in Houston Mo, and saw what I believe is their emergency lighting system.  There are 6 of these manually operated lights in the dining area.  I hope I'm never here when they are needed.

What if? A Scenario

It seems that a lot of people are concerned with prepping for some catastrophe thats to come.  Well in the scouts the motto was to "be prepared" I think its good to have some supplies put back in case something like Hurricane Katrina comes along.   But, what if the calamity is man or government made?   We can think of any number of man made events ourselves.  But government made events?  If  Uncle mutt Obama  wanted to bring the US to its knees in one fell swoop, what would he do?  I think to shut down the power grid.  98 percent of all people would out of sorts without their grid power.  your credit / debit cards won't work.  You won't be able to buy gas for your SUV's, you certainly can't keep food from going bad without refrigeration.

How many people can produce their own power from scratch?  Less than 1/10th of a percent at this moment.  Read up about producer gas, methane generators, and other real alternative power sources.  For get about scams like the HOJO motor.

Really the politicians in office care nothing about the people on the street.  You and the community you live in will have to take care of your selves and not rely on crooks from Chicago to help you, unless your willing to give them your wealth. In that case I guess your just another brain dead moron.

Fat People

  You know I can understand being a bit pudgy, cause I can stand to lose a few pounds.  But, when in places like Walmart I see folks riding around in the store provided scooters and the fat and flab of their bodies are hanging off the side of the cart, well that is just to much.  The basket on the cart/scooter is filled with soft drinks, and junk foods, along with way overly processed boxed and canned items.  I have not seen any thing in those carts that could be construed as healthy.  Now I've heard some of these people talk about having a eating disorder.  I can see that, they have the unavoidable compulsion to shovel junk foods down their throats and then not accept the blame for their condition.  I think these folks congregate at Walmart because none of the other stores provide scooters for the undisciplined overly fat people to shop with.  Of course they will blame fast food places like McDonald's that their kids are obsessively fat and also that is what cause their own eating disorder.

I even heard one of the local volunteer fire fighters complain that his doctor put him on a diabetic diet,  But obliviously when he didn't lose weight, it was the doctors fault and not his.    I guess with todays air of self entitlements no one can accept blame for their own shortcomings.   Sad isn't it?

trashy people

Yesterday i had to go to the eye doctor, yea bummer.  Well after it was over i went across the road to Hibbits to get some new shoes.  As i was walking up to the store, 4 people left the store just south of Hibbits.  One was mocking a mentally challenge person.  I could not see the one being mocked, but the 4 were black as spades, I think if the role had been reversed, there would all sorts of crying about disrespecting the black people.  Well It seems that most black people are only 25 to 30 decades from stone aged tribal society.  Is this what makes them act this way?  Maybe they crack ho mommas were to strung out to teach them better?   Or maybe they want to be little wanna be gansta thug punks?  Or I know they want to be Trayvon Martins!  and then they mother can say they were misrepresented. 

Either way,  Society has set rules.  The rules are for every one.  No exceptions, not even mutts.
